Stratton Urn on Low Milton Plinth
Provenance A large French urn, festooned with oak leaves and imposing rams head, crowned with a flame finial. Originally made for the Chateau Valencay, Indra, on the banks of the Loire in France. The original urn stands in the formal gardens created in the 18 Century, although earlier parts of the Chateau gardens are believed to date back to the 16 Century.
