Laocoon
High Priest of Troy who Laocoon warned the Trojans in vain against accepting the Greek offering of the Trojan Horse. The main source of the line “beware of Greeks bearing gifts”. This figurine has been inspired by a sculpture in the Vatican Museum Rome – depicting Laocoon being strangled by a sea-serpent sent by Poseidon. Composition Available Aged Marble composition.
